John C. Stewart joined the church Triumphant on June 9, 2015. John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His greatest joy was his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed bow hunting, fishing and outdoor photography. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and quietly helping those in need. John was born in Albuquerque, NM, to Cecil and Jean Stewart on January 2, 1947. He served in the Air National Guard and was stationed in Korea. John was a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway. He was an active member of Cross of Hope Lutheran Church. John was preceded in his death by his parents. John leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Becky; daughter, Heidi Esquibel (Dennis); daughter, Lisa Shaw (Andrew); son, Christopher Stewart (Brandi); grandchildren, Elizabeth Shay, Bob and Jack McLaughlin, Josh (Adrianne), David and Justin Esquibel; brother, Bill Stewart (Diane); sister, Janet Stewart; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends, Tom Raymond and Terry Habish. God bless you…we will miss you forever. Memorial for John will be June 15^th, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Cross of Hope Lutheran Church at 6104 Taylor Ranch Rd. NW, 87120. Reception immediately following.
