Jerry Howard Spear

Jerry Howard Spear (1946-2009) – Jerry was born in New Mexico on July 7, 1946. He was the son of Fred and Vera Spear. After graduating from Valley, he joined the United States Air Force and served as a Munitions Expert in Bangkok and Thailand. He was a member of the Ironworker’s Union in Houston, TX. He married Karen in Springfield, MO, in 1976. In 2002 her married Bobbie June Rhodes in a double ring ceremony with his brother John and Barbara Moore in Enid, OK. He had several children - Sheila Kay, Shellie Lee, Roger, Shane David, and Judy. He was a Master Mason in the Moreno Valley Masonic Lodge #804 in 2006. Jerry suffered a stroke in March 2009 and passed away on April 13, 2009, in Kansas City, MO. Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. CDT, at the St. Clair Masonic Lodge #273 in Osceola, MO.
