David Chavez, 75, a lifelong resident of Alameda, Albuquerque, NM.  Passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 20, 2022.  He was surrounded by his beloved wife, son and his three precious grandsons.

  He is survived by his Wife, Carmen Chavez, Son John Vincent Chavez, preceded in death by infact son, David Jr. and daughter Justine "Tina" Chavez.  He is survived by the lights of his life, his three amazing Grandsons: Gannon, Logan and Aden Chavez.  Preceded in death by his parents, Lizardo and Sofia Chavez, his father and Mother-in-Law, Carlos and Josefita Ortega, his sister Frances Baldonado, Nieces; Jennifer Ortega and Debra Banda.  He is survived by his brothers, Andy and Leroy Chaven, nephews, nieces and cousins. 

  He was lovingly married to Carmen for 54 years.  Retired after 28 years as the Golf superintendent for the City of Albuquerque's four golf courses.  Marine Corp Veteran; #` Far alongside his wife, Carmen, always in teh stands, supporting his grandsons.

  He embodied what it was to be a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He is immensely loved, and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
